Gesundheit (2024)

Created in just 5 hours during a workshop in Bonn, Germany, Gesundheit was a fun exercise in cell animation combined with live prop interaction!

The format of the short is based on the work of Marty Cooper, aka hombre-mcsteets on Instagram. Following Cooper's method, this animation was created on the fly with clear cells, sharpie and white-out. Since we were in a hostel cafe, I decided to use the table's napkin holder as inspiration and a character!
